HOW DO I HANDLE THE STRESS AND UNCERTAINTY IN THE UNITED STATES?

DEAR DALI MAMA:

With all the big changes going on in the world and in the United States, what is the best way to handle all the stress and uncertainty?

—Stressed Out (U.S.A.)

DEAR S.O.:

Take especially good care of yourself and make sure that you are eating healthy foods and getting enough rest and exercise. You might also want to limit how much you read or watch the news, particularly in the evenings too close before bedtime.

If you’re particularly passionate about a cause like the environment or making sure all have access to food or healthcare, perhaps you could find a worthy organization and volunteer. That way, you’re using your energy towards contributing to making the world a better place rather than using your energy to worry about all the negative things that are happening.

Take care of yourself, my friend.

HOW DO I START A NEW EXERCISE REGIMEN?

DEAR DALI MAMA:

I am trying to start a healthy exercise regimen but just can’t seem to get going, even when I wake up early in order to go exercise. I welcome any suggestions.

–Slug (United States)

DEAR SLUG:

This is pretty common when you’re starting out any kind of new program, so keep heart! Do you have any friend/neighbor you can be exercise buddies with? If you’re meeting someone at the gym at a certain time or at the corner to go for a jog, it’s a lot easier to create a habit of healthy exercise when you have to be accountable to someone else who would be very annoyed to not have you show up!

Also, set your exercise to honor and support you and have fun with your body and keep validating it as the blood flows more easily through your body, as your lungs build its capacity, and your energy levels start to change. Set your exercise to validation and for your optimal health, and release any existing energies of “having to” to anything or resistance to the way your body is now.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR TRAINING DOGS?

DEAR DALI MAMA:

What do you recommend for training dogs? I’m thinking about getting a dog but I’ve never had a dog before.

–Puppy Lover (United States)

DEAR PUPPY LOVER:

Congratulations for thinking about this BEFORE getting a dog. How you set the tone and provide a good foundation for a long life together with your dog is essential.

Once you establish a relationship with your dog and train your dog properly, you might even want to consider getting a second dog if, for example, the dog would be alone during the daytime while you’re at work. That way, your dog would have a pal to hang out with while you’re at work.

First, research what kind of dog you want to get so you can ensure that you can pick a dog that is a good match for you. Some dogs need tons of exercise, which is great if you’re an avid hiker or walker but not so great if you aren’t.

Next, check out Cesar Millan, the dog whisperer. He has a show and books and DVDs.

Also, communicate with your dog’s spirit and be consistent and communicate in psychic pictures as much as possible in a vibration of love and certainty.

Wishing you a wonderful life with your dog, who is very lucky to be with someone like you.

IS MY WORK MAKING ME SICK?

DEAR DALI MAMA:

I am a busy psychotherapist with a thriving practice and many clients but, over the years, I find I am feeling less and less well over time. After a full day of sessions, I sometimes have a throbbing headache and my body is sore like I have the flu but I’m not really sick. Sometimes I even feel nauseous. Usually by Sunday evening, I’m feeling okay again but then the whole cycle starts again the next week. Is there a spiritual or energetic cause for this?

–Trying to Keep on Keeping on (Canada)

DEAR KEEPING ON:

This is actually a very common experience. Start by consulting your doctor to doublecheck that there are no physical causes for these symptoms.

Next, start taking care of your energy. Psychotherapists and other wellness providers (including caretakers, teachers, parents, or anyone that works deeply with people and/or with large groups of people) often pick up energy from the people they’re working with, resulting in physical symptoms and discomfort. When you’re sensitive to energy, this can be even more exacerbated.

You can take better care of your energy through the following steps:

  • Ground and run your energy regularly (email holdinglightproductions@yahoo.com with “SEND FREE MEDITATION EXERCISES” in the subject line if you don’t know how to do this and would like to learn).
  • When starting each day, imagine creating fresh boundary roses on all sides of you (in front, back, on the sides, and above and below you) and allow the roses to absorb any energies from clients and other people, instead of you absorbing them into your body or your aura layers surrounding your body. When the roses get full of energies you don’t want, you can imagine exploding them and creating a brand-new set.
  • Make sure you take good care of yourself always, getting adequate sleep and exercise, and taking time to do what feeds your joy and your spirit.

Have fun taking great care of yourself, just as you do as you’re caring for others.

READERS: I invite you to send in a question of your own, either in the comment section or via email to askdalimama@gmail.com. And sorry I missed posting on March 27, which I just realized. I thought I had posted it but wi fi has been variable on the road and apparently it didn’t go through. Thanks for joining me here.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR LOW ENERGY?

DEAR DALI MAMA:

I have very low energy. What do you recommend?

–Tired (Canada)

DEAR TIRED:

First of all, check with your doctor to make sure there’s nothing going on physically that needs to be addressed.

In addition to avoiding the usual suspects (sugar, excess caffeine, etc.), you might want to try calling your energy back in its divine neutral form from every place you’ve left it (with other people, your workplace, projects, various places, the past, the future, etc.) and fill yourself (your body and your aura layers, the layers of energy surrounding your physical body) with your energy in its divine neutral form. It can be amazing how much of our energy we’ve got scattered all over the place and how different we can feel when we’ve reclaimed it for ourselves.

Also, make sure to give your body enough exercise every day. Even when you feel too tired, if you can manage to get your body moving for even half an hour or an hour every day, you’ll start to feel more and more energetic.

Have fun playing with that!
